Emma Spong

Meet Emma our resident GB physiotherapist working on Saturdays. Emma became a physiotherapist in 2017, and then completed an MSc at Salford University in Sports Rehabilitation. Emma started her journey in the NHS before specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy working with elite female athletes in cricket, rugby, cycling, and now, GB Hockey.
Emma enjoys helping a diverse range of clients, drawing from her extensive experience to offer effective assistance to all. Whether you are recovering from injury or surgery, have ongoing pain or are looking to take your performance to the next level Emma has the tools to help you.
Emma is no stranger to challenges and goals with her expertise expanding to major events such as The Hundred, Commonwealth Games, British outdoor athletic championships, The London Marathon, and British cycling events over the last 4 years.
Outside of her clinical roles, Emma has lectured and delivered teachings across her previous role at Loughborough university.
